Invest in DCS. Haven't tried MS flight sim yet but DCS is killer with the Rift.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I, myself, would like to use a Flight Simulator with rift. But I have not come across one that would work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you download the app called "Bigscreen" from the oculus store, you can play the flight sim or anything else on a 115 inch display in front of your eyes. It's pretty awesome.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You must buy a program called flyinside-fsx.com This program interfaces between oculus and fsx. I couldnt believe how well it works, it is also available for prepr3d and x-plane. I bought an oculus because of this. Well worth it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are a few factors that will go into the performance of the rift with Microsoft Flight Simulator X or also know as FSX. It is not compatible right out of the box, however there is a product you can purchase called FlyInside. This will basically "Wrap" your simulator in a environment where you will still get the required 90FPS for the oculus even though the simulator may only be pushing 30. Note however, addons such as PMDG aircraft, ORBX scenery etc...... will hinder the performance as well. But if you have a beastly PC then I would go for it. Hope this helps. -Sheer
