It can work if you have a Display port and not an HDMI which most Graphics cards will have. If you are lucky you may get an adapter but I have never tried if that will work. The best of luck is to get a graphics card with a display port. If you don't know what a display port is then google is your best friend. =)

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well it is PC powered, so it needs a PC. But your PC needs to have a DisplayPort or Mini DisplayPort in it. Or you need a USB-c port in your computer; however, you will need an adapter for it. It will not work with HDMI
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Oculus Rift S requires a VR ready PC (see if your PC is VR ready at https://support.oculus.com/204823846627499/). So if you do not already have a decently powerful PC, then this product is not for you. If you do, then great! This is one of the best headsets that you can get today to start having fun in VR (seriously it's awesome). Having said all that, I would recommend getting the Oculus Quest instead. It has very similar specs, it's the same price and it does not require any PC or cables to use (which sounds like it would not be as good, but it's actually really good). On top of that, Oculus just introduced "Oculus Link" for the Quest which will make it so that you can play Rift S games (aka PC required) on the Quest through an added cable. So basically there isn't any need for the Rift S to exist anymore. Just get the Quest :) Oh and did I mention that they also announced hand tracking! Oculus Quest is the way to go right now.
I would recommend:
