As far as I know, you can't just utilize the Black Ink ONLY. You have to use BOTH Black AND Color. There is NO Charge for using the HPInstantInk program for the next 2 years. Everyone seems to believe that this is some type of a hoax just to get you to sign up and the will charge you later. Now, do NOT get me wrong. If you go above I think it's 300 pages a month; then, there might be some sort of charge. I can't remember how many pages a month they allow you, but I have a Home Business that I use along with My Son's Home Business that he's starting. Now, I can't say that with his Business adding on the system if I will be going over the 300 pages. I will have to wait until next month and see where I am at on page count. So, you can try it and see. If you know approximately how many pages you will be printing a month, then you can call them and work out a deal with them if it will be higher.
