You do have to pay $30/camera/yr, however, you can optionally choose to pay $100/yr for an unlimited number of cameras, depending on what makes better financial sense to you. Hope it helps.

Unfortunately you have to pay an additional $30 or $3 a month to be able to have the videos saved after the first 30 days.

They give you 30 day trial.
I called them up and asked the same question and I was able to get an extra 90 days free

They are supposed to release the unlimited plan anytime now (100/yr) but until then $30/per camera per year.
