QuestionAt the moment, I have a wired standard door bell. May I wire this Ring door bell to the existing wires? In addition to being able to see who's outside on my phone, will it ring on my existing chime? Regards.

- Answer You can wire it to your existing doorbell wires. Some units require a larger 40VA 16 or 24 volt transformer. It will not ring your chime. You can purchase a wireless ring chime. I've installed 4 of these systems as an electrician.

- Answer Yes, you can but, if you choose the wired option, you will need to purchase a power adapter separately. You might actually be better off purchasing one that has a battery pack for ease of installation

It is decent at night if no light is available, but good with illumination. My camera is set up so I receive immediate notice on my app and also sounds a chime on my Alexa speakers.
