I found that 16 gauge was a struggle. I had to force the wire in tightly for satisfactory results.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Do what I did get monster cable's clips they will work all smaller wire. They little more expensive but a lot easier to use
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I find using the larger size wire holds better so far the 16 gauge works well but the 14 or 12 gauge is bigger and will fit better
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They are difficult to connect, the secret is to get the wire to twist on the prong. Not to much not to little. It took me several attempts but when it gets 'twisted' right there will no play.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They're for 12 - 16 gauge wire
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used 2 or 3 layers of electrical tape to make the diameter of the conduit/insulation thick enough it for the plastic cone looking piece to feel some resistance while I slide it into place. You can go with thicker gauge as well, remember the smaller the gauge the bigger the wire.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The package says ideal for 12-16 gauge wire. The instructions inside describes the black compression collars to be used for smaller (16-18 gauge wires. I could not get mine to hold 16 gauge wires.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used the 16AWG speaker wire from Best Buy and it works great. Ensure that you slide the white compression connector onto the wire to ensure a secure fit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The wire gauge sizes are listed on the package. Be sure to use the smaller size collets with the smaller wire. Also be sure to do a fresh 'cut' leaving no wire ends exposed and push the spikes in as far as possible to get as best a connection as possible.
