It is a lot quieter than any washer we have had. Be aware, I had to buy a step stool for my wife to reach the bottom of the washer to get clothes out. It is very deep...

I have someone above and below so was also worried about noise. These machines are not only highly efficient but are also very quiet. Highly recommend!!
