I had the same thing, rusted area around the bleach dispenser and soap and softener dispenser, Mine was recalled washer, so got this one and really like it. It is almost the same, but I can tell they did something different to attach the top. Also the soap dispenser looks a little different, so hoping there will be no rust, as I love how this washer works.
