“I have a Samsung SmartThings hub but no ADT hub. Can I connect these motion sensors to the Samsung hub or do I need to have an ADT hub too? If possible, how do I connect it to the Samsung hub?”

• I purchased several of these prior to the hurricane in Florida last year and didn’t try to install until after repairs had been made, only to find out they cannot be used. I have over $100 worth of the ADT brand that I cannot do anything with. The sales person when I asked said: no you don’t need ADT for them to work. Now I have several that I cannot do anything with.

• I had bought some too after reading somewhere that they would work with Samsung SmartThings hub... and now I know they're of no use to me also.

• Sorry, the co-branded ADT/SmartThings sensors only work with the ADT/SmartThings hub. They use some proprietary protocol.
