This motion sensor is for the SmartTHings ADT Hub and works great. It detects motion as it should and triggers the alarm as it should. Easy to setup through the SmartThings hub.

Fairly easy to set up

Unfortunately it requires the ADP hub and you lose some flexibility in how you can set things up if you own a regular SmartThings hub.

I'm assuming it's the battery..of course just had up and working for just a month..I'll update here if it's something else!!

Samsung - SmartThings ADT Motion

Not only can the motion be used for the security setting of the hub but also for automation. I have my motion detector that covers the kitchen area turn on the light bulb over the sink, and setup a rule for only to turn on the light fixture for 5 minutes on motion during a set time period of an hour before sunset and up until 90 minutes after sunrise.

When I first got Ring I forgot it was armed and walked into the house, the motion sensor caught my motion and scared the devil out of me. It was so loud it was disorienting. Great for would be thieves!
