A:AnswerHello there. These sensors can not be added to an ADT system because ADT lock's there equipment. These are made for the new DIY SmartThings system that ADT will monitor.
However, you would want to call ADT to service your equipment. If the motion had a delay before maybe it was changed in error by a recent service tech?
A:AnswerI purchased several of these prior to the hurricane in Florida last year and didn’t try to install until after repairs had been made, only to find out they cannot be used. I have over $100 worth of the ADT brand that I cannot do anything with. The sales person when I asked said: no you don’t need ADT for them to work. Now I have several that I cannot do anything with.
A:AnswerSorry but this will not work with the old hub. It uses a new encripted radio that is only in the new Smartthings ADT Touchscreen hub. WIth the new ADT hub the only these are the only devices that can be monitored by ADT. I hope this helps.
