Absolutely and it's easy. Use the Smarthings app, pair the device, for example, a light, and then use the Routines to turn it off and on at specific times automatically. You and your phone do not need to be present. Check the Samsung Smarthings website, look for "Community" and you will find answers to all of your questions.
