• Yes, this is the V2 hub that includes a battery backup as well as some other enhancements

• I think there's some confusion among us because Best Buy lists this as "Model:F-H-ETH-001". On Samsung's website, they list the latest SmartThings 2nd generation hub as "F-HUB-US-2". https://www.samsung.com/us/smart-home/smartthings/hubs/f-hub-us-2-f-hub-us-2
