• No, it doesnt power from usb or a cigarrette lighter directly, but if you took apart the cigarette lighter you could solider to the connections to the lighter , behind the cigarrette lighter to give the unit power , and since the cigarrette lighter is most likely on the acc of your vehicle, the unit will power down when the vehicle is off, and turn on when vehicle started.
