I would check the Pioneer website first. It should be possible to enable the SiriusXM feature without installing anything. You will need to find out what your serial number is, and the SiriusXM chip code. Once you have that, contact SiriusXM and see if they can do a trial run with you, to confirm it all works before subscribing. They give it away for 3 months with new cars, and they have no trouble cancelling people, that's for sure.
