QuestionI have Sirius radio and drive over the road in all of the US and when I come near a big city I'm stuck listening to their radio station. Like Dallas I had to drive 160 miles north before I could hear Sirius. Any way to correct this?

- Answer Buy the FM Direct adapter from best buy SKU: 811658, essentially it electronically disconnects your vehicle antenna when listening to XM so all of the local channels no longer interfer.

QuestionNature of audio output cableIf I'm not mistaken, the output wire is a standard 3.5 mm. Is this correct? Not having a amp in the Onxy it would have a low volume that needed to be amplified. Is this correct? You would be able to plug in headphones but it would not be loud enough I think.

- Answer I believe it is a standard 3.5MM jack. I use the Boom Box and headphones at night so i do not bother anyone

QuestionWill the onyx plus fit and work in the plug and play sirius boombox?I'm looking to upgrade from a starmate, and really like this radio mainly will be using it in the sirius boombox and am wondering if this will fit and work before I order! Thanks

- Answer It will work if you have the SiriusXM universal boombox. If you have the old Sirius universal boombox, it won't work with the Onyx Plus as the Onyx Plus is on the XM platform.
