A:AnswerHi,
Thank you for your question. The included Sonos Amp is not marine grade and is not designed to be exposed to the elements. It should be installed in a dry, protected indoor location or in a properly ventilated, weather-protected enclosure if used outdoors. The MAG Series outdoor speakers themselves are designed for outdoor installation, but the amplifier must be kept out of direct exposure to rain, moisture, and harsh environmental conditions.

A:AnswerIt all depends on how loud you like your music. But yes and Sonance makes a Marine Grade MX86 with 8”sub and I hear it’s a perfect match with a Sonos Amp. You lose some of the surround setup capabilities, but it make up with a better bass and a very crisp sound.

A:AnswerYou can, by wire.
passive speakers using standard banana plug terminals, powered subwoofers via RCA, and TVs via HDMI ARC. It also includes an analog RCA line-in for turntables or CD players and supports Wi-Fi or dual-Ethernet for networking. It supports up to three pairs of speakers in parallel (if 8-ohm).

A:AnswerHi,
Thank you for your question. This system does not need an additional receiver. The Sonos amp powers the speakers, and the Sonos app is the source for the system.

A:AnswerI have had the system up to 100% in the speaker shown no signs of distortion. At 100%, it is very loud and I would not play it at that volume for any extended period of time.
A:AnswerI did a comparison between these speakers and several higher priced speakers at my local BestBuy. These speakers just sounded Great! Don't forget you are getting a powerhouse of an amp to run two sets of speakers ie: Mariner 6's !
