XAV-AX100 uses a resistive touchscreen. A bit less responsive than capacitative, but after driving this XAVAX100 for several days now, in cold weather, I have to say that its really kinda nice to be able to keep the gloves on and use the touchscreen interface (resistive responds to pressure i.e. resistance). Capacitative requires skin contact, stylus or touchscreen-friendly gloves.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This screen is resistive. It's actually really good, I had not realized that it was resistive until I looked it up - its is a nice responsive screen. Wish BestBuy would allow users to edit their reviews - the XAV-AX100 has impressed me now that I've been using it for a few days.
