Q: QuestionHow good is the connectivity with Iphone7 ?

• A:Answer Have it installed in my Jeep. Connectivity with iPhone 7 via USB works perfectly. The deck automatically switches to CarPlay when plugged in. There is a noticeable difference between the sound quality when it's playing a song via Bluetooth and when I plug in the USB port. That said Bluetooth works well on its own but it does not support CayPlay via Bluetooth.

Q: QuestionCONFUSED about the free installation deal. The pictured "fine print" says hardware not included. So if I buy this unit, it will not get installed in my car free, but they will just show me how to press some buttons??

• A:Answer Unfortunately, the unit by itself (any after market head unit) is not enough. To replace the system that came with the car, you need at a minimum, a dash kit (the surrounding plastic) and a wiring harness (which connects the head unit's wiring to your car's native wiring). That way you don't cut any wires and you can re-install the original head unit. Best Buy will install the aftermarket head unit and re-install the original one if you sell the car and want to take the head unit into your new car. In addition to this, yiu may need antenna, amplifier etc. and steering wheel control for the head unit. Best Buy charges $60 for hooking up steering wheel controls and the parts will be extra. Best Buy charges $130 for installing backup camera. Basically depending on your car and what you are getting installed, you will have an additional charge of $75 to $350.
