- Answer you cant watch videos on it. it will play the sound from you tube, but no video, that would most likely cause wrecks.

- Answer It always uses a combination of the USB and bluetooth; when you ug it in it'll turn on the bluetooth for you

- Answer Hi Thinking, The Car stereo doesn't have a built-in GPS Navigation system. You can use an Iphone or an Android smartphone to connect to the unit to support GPS, or you can update the firmware of the Car stereo to the latest version to support XA-NV400 (Plug-in Car Navigation Module). QuestionI’m about to purchase the Sony system and im wondering does system work without me connecting my phone? What are the limitations of the system, if I don’t connect my phone Bluetooth or usb cable. Will navigation system work?

- Answer Hi Thinking, Yes, the car stereo will still work, but without connecting a phone via Apple Carplay or Android Auto, the unit is only capable of using the FM Radio, USB and Bluetooth playback. Navigation system can only be accessed once a smartphone is connected. Kindly refer to the link provided below for additional information about the unit. - Answer Hi Wendy, Because of the number of variables encountered with different makes and models of automobiles, Sony is unable to assist with the installation of car stereo and mobile audio systems. However, if you are using a wiring harness, further information about the wire color and function of each pin on the wiring harness is available. Regards, David
