QuestionCan I control my car AC and heat with the XAV AX 100? I want to see the temp and adjust it. Currently I see it on my factory screen. If I install the XAV AX100 will I see these controls to make adjustments. I have a 2014 Pathfinder.

- Answer No. The receiver doesn’t have anything to control the climate settings and doesnt wire into the climate control either.

- Answer Navigation is not built in, but with the android auto feature, you'll download the app to your phone and it will run goolge maps off of it. As far as I know, you'll have to have your phone plugged in to be able to use this feature.

- Answer Mine has also increased due to increased use of google maps and streaming of music. Comparing your data usage by app and I would bet you see increases in both areas.

- Answer I don’t know about the Android Auto side, but for the Apple CarPlay side: It does not currently support Waze but it will support third-party navigation apps like Waze and Google Maps when iOS 12 releases in the Fall 2018.

- Answer AFAIK, you can't run video on it. Certainly on Android Auto (and most likely on Car Play), the focus is entirely on safety eschewing all distractions while driving. So, unless the car is stationary with the parking brake enabled, you can't watch any video.
