No CD player. If your vehicle does not have a backup camera already you will have to purchase one separately.

There is no CD player with this unit. You do have to buy a rear view camera separately. I'd get it all at the same time to make installation easier.

No the Sony xav ax100 dose not have a CD player. It is a digital media player only. You can stream music from your devices using Bluetooth, you can download to a USB stick and plug that straight in. It also uses apple CarPlay and android auto both so depending what device you have simply connect it via USB. As far as the camera goes if your car already has a camera then you will not need to purchase a new camera however you may need to purchase a step down connector to get it to work but it is inexpensive. If your car dose not have a camera the yes you will need to buy a camera.
