~The cold doesn't appear to mess it up. It's an older style touch screen not like smartphones of this era. The touch hasn't been an issue for me at all. I live in Cleveland where our winter's get massive lake effect conditions that make it extremely cold.

However, the monitor is not damaged and the picture will become clear after the temperature in your car becomes normal. Please do not use the unit outside the temperature range around: 0 ºC – 40 ºC (32 ºF – 104 ºF). ~Earl
