They will run a cable from the back of the unit to a new USB port for you. I would tell them if you have a specific location you would like it or ask them which location makes the most sense for your vehicle.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The USB location will depend on your vehicle. When mine was installed they ran it through the glove box. As far as auto play I'm assuming you mean it automatically connecting to your phone when you start driving? And in that case, if you only connect via Bluetooth it'll connect and play that automatically, but if you want the Android auto or Apple carplay features you'll need to plug in every time
