A:AnswerIf the clerk told you the blu-ray would play, it won't as this is not a blu-ray player. The DVD should play. I guess it upgrades the DVD to 1080p. I haven't used mine yet. The digital code should download and will be played back at 1080p, maybe higher.

A:AnswerThe people at Bestbuy were helpful with this it’s another hdmi connection adapter that you plug your dvd into and the hdmi cable. The others end of the adaptor goes into the spot where it says hdmi on your tv
