How easy is set up? null

It is simple plug in the HDMI into the dvd and television, plug in the power

Super easy. Really just two cords to plug in - one for power and the other to connect audio/visual (3 plug-ins on each end, color coded). If you want to use an HDMI cable, you need to buy one, because it isn‘t included. Put batteries in the remote (included) and simply follow the couple of steps in the instructions. Took about 10 minutes.

Very easy. Just attach one end of an HDMI cable to the DVD player and the other end to the TV.
