It is stereo out. No subwoofer or surround.
So if you are just looking for a stereo sound amp for your tv, this would be great. If you want hdmi or optical input with surround capabilities you need a more expensive model. I have the STRDH590 for my tv.

A:AnswerUnfortunately, the connector is only for the supplied single wire antenna. If you experiment with placing it, it might work fairly well. I too wish it had 300 or 75 ohm external antenna connections.

• Extend and adjust the position of the FM
wire antenna (aerial) to a place where the
reception conditions are good.
• Place the FM wire antenna (aerial) near a
window.
• Position the FM wire antenna (aerial) as
horizontally as possible.
