A:AnswerHi johnchevy,Thank you for the question. Yes, there is a TREBLE +- and BASS +- button on the remote to adjust the tonal balance of the speakers. There is also a SPEAKER BALANCE option that lets you adjust the balance between left and right speakers. For SPEAKER BALANCE adjustment, you will have to navigate to the AMP MENU of the receiver. A:AnswerHi Jamie, Good question! Yes, it will work as long as the speakers connected fall within the impedance range of 6-16 ohms. When you connect all the speakers with a nominal impedance of 8 ohms or higher, set the speaker impedance or “SP IMP.” to “8 OHM”. In other connections, set it to “6 OHM”.
Hope this helps!

A:AnswerI was able to correct the problem by resetting the AT&T Uverse remote. The remote is a universal one used to operate a nearby AT&T DVR and a Sony TV.

A:AnswerHi Grasshopper, We're sorry to hear about the sound issue you're having. If the connected speakers sounds terrible, please make sure to do the following:
Check that the speakers and device are
connected securely.
Make sure that the connecting cables are
not near a transformer or motor.
Move your audio device away from the
TV.
If the plugs and jacks are dirty, wipe them
with a cloth slightly moistened with
alcohol.
Also, please make sure that the speakers are within the impedance rating of 6-16 ohms.
