Hi Robert, Great question! Yes, you can use 2 sets of speakers simultaneously. Press "SPEAKERS A/B" repeatedly to select the speaker system you want to operate. Then select “SPK A+B”. Pplease refer to this link for more information: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/4726/f63b8edb2b154409daa55875111f95e4/47269071M.pdf (see page 20) Whether you choose to enjoy the warm sound of vinyl via the phono input, or stream music from your digital music collection, you’ve found a perfect match. Don’t forget the receiver’s A=B function lets you connect two pairs of speakers. You can easily switch between A or B or use them all together at the same time. When you factor in the low-profile design, we’re sure you’ve found the flexibility and performance you’ve been looking for! Regards, Sam
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can connect 2 sets of speakers, no there is no balance control, however on the remote there is bass & treble control. There are 4 inputs plus the phono input. Reciever has plenty of power, for the money this is a good deal.
