A:AnswerHi, Chris!
Unfortunately, The UBPX700 doesn't have a Youtube TV app. The only option to get a new app on this unit is through a software update. As a suggestion, please do wait for the upcoming updates. -Sam
A:AnswerHi, Lora!
Unfortunately, no. The player only supports screen mirroring compatible devices to mirror the picture of the connected device on the TV.

Erin

A:AnswerHi,ED!
There should be no difference. Rest assured that the UBPX700 should be able to supports 4K content even though 4K logo is not present on the player itself. Hope this helps! -Sam
A:AnswerThis my 2nd unit which I have had for a few weeks (does not ask for updates). The 1st unit which is identical I have had 6 months to a year and it never demanded a firmware update (although neither have been connected to the WIFI).
A:AnswerIt’s possible that you got a defective cable or there may be a setting for HDMI inputs on your TV that you need to check to get full 4K bandwidth.
A:Answer99% of the time I have found points on the disc that lock up can be addressed by carefully cleaning off the disc with a soft cloth and disc cleaner. Some may even not be apparent visually so don't be afraid to take this extra step. As to skipping over a point you can try going to the next chapter and then backing up to just after the lock out point.
A:AnswerHi, akrLA!
No, this player will only playback 4K resolution using Blu-ray disc or streaming apps. You can fast reverse or fast forward during playback. The search speed changes each time you press the button.
Happy to help,
David
A:AnswerI also have a new Samsung QLED tv and recently purchased the Sony UBPX700 and it works great. Plays DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K discs. Pretty sure you'll have to use HDMI cable, and not component.
A:AnswerJust go to the Sony Select or App section and the system will guide you through the setup using an activation code that you can enter either with your computer or SmartPhone.
