A:AnswerThis is Bluetooth only so you would not be able to plug it into anything unless you got a Bluetooth transmitter which costs more than just moving up a model.
A:AnswerNot for familiar with how your old ones work but these headphones connect wirelessly by Bluetooth to your other devices such as your laptop, tablet or your phone
A:AnswerProbably not. If your Denon receiver is like mine it has a Bluetooth receiver that pairs with your phone, computer, etc for a sound source. It does not have a Bluetooth transmitter in it, so it does not have the ability to transmit the information to the wireless headphones. There are several products out there that will plug into your headphone jack and transmit the audio. However when it is done this way you lose all remote capability as far as the receiver goes such as receiver volume and the ability to change tracks, pause, etc. If Best Buy does not have one of these transmitters, check out Amazon. They are relatively cheap.
A:AnswerNot sure if it was answered but if your friends phone is nearby it may not sync up. I found that if I had my phone on and tried to sync my iPad it wouldn't. Once I turned off the bluetooth for headphones on phone it did sync.
