• No Sony tv's only receive bluetooth signals from like a cell phone to play music or video it does not transmit a signal to the headphones

• If your tv has a headphones setting in the audio through Bluetooth you should be fine. I use my it with my Samsung tv that's 2 years old and it sounds great.
