Lasted Two years Until the Right Side Broke
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I LOVE the sound that comes out of these babies. The bass is the perfect amount yet still able to hear everything you need without spending a fortune. However, yesterday while picking them up from the desk the right side (near the connection) broke and the right earpiece is hanging. I have no idea why as I've had them only two years. I guess that I should have bought the extra warranty but I didn't expect them to practically snap in two.

Design Flaw
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased 4 of these for my family. All of them broke around the same location by the speaker. We contacted Sony for a replacement. They refused. Their sound quality is amazing. This was a lot of money to lose. We are very disappointed Sony would not replace them.

Bluetooth Connectivity is Great!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this headset to pair with my Macbook Pro. Since my girlfriend and I have dramatically different tastes in TV and movies (my girlfriend watches Chinese language programs), I usually end up watching streamed shows on my Macbook when we are just hanging out. I had been using an older set of noise cancelling headphones (wired) but they went belly up after 5 years. Not having a wire connection is awesome. I was a little leery of what the sound quality with bluetooth would be, but found it to be perfect. The only negative is that the headphones don't take batteries, and charge via USB. That in and of itself is not an issue. However, you can not use the headset while it is charging. Certainly not a major issue since I have gotten over 10 hours on a full charge, but if I forget to charge it beforehand, and they run out in the middle of a show, I have to wait while they are recharging. All in all, great headset, super simple pairing, and a super price.

Loved the headphones, but broke 4 months later...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received these headphones as a birthday present back in July of this year. The headphones are great, and I've always trusted Sony with my money when it comes to buying anything audio-related. All of my CD players, headphones, even a minidisc player back in the day were all Sony because I love the brand. These were my first pair of Bluetooth headphones, and I love(d) them. The extra bass sounds great. Aside from a few bluetooth connections issues I had no problems with the headphones. That is, until tonight. I noticed that on the right side of the headphones, there is a significant crack in the plastic. I had read a review of another model of Sony bluetooth headphones similar to these (I think they were the 950BT headphones) where the customer complained about the cheap plastic in the same spot breaking on their headphones. I dismissed it thinking that it must be a fluke or that this person must have manhandled their headphones. Not anymore. My headphones are used daily...while I'm sitting at my computer listening to music or watching YouTube videos so that I don't disturb anyone else with the volume from my computer speakers. Nowhere else are they used. They have never left this house since getting them back in July, and they aren't abused or thrown around. I like to take care of my electronics. Needless to say, I am very disappointed. Since these were a gift, I do not have the receipt, and an extended warranty was not purchased. I believe that the headphones are only covered by a 30 day warranty, which is obviously up since it's now November. As an added punch to the gut, these headphones were $130 when purchased for me at Best Buy back in July, and they're now sitting here listed at $80. Only giving this two stars instead of one because other than the fact that they only lasted 4 months, they are great.

Best headphones at 1/3 the price of popular trash!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Jaybird's, Plantronics, and JBL's bluetooth earbuds in the same price range and returned all of them. I didn't think I would want over the ear cans, but I saw them displayed when I was contemplating actually spending a lot more on Bose or Beats. I have always known that Beats are trash, but I was looking for actual bass. I play music for a living and have a good reference of what music should sound like via earphones. And this set of Sony head phones won me over from the first demo song I heard. They sound better than both the Bose and, obviously, the Beats. The bass is actual bass. In fact, I move the ear pad slightly off my ear sometimes in order to let some of the bass out for a slightly cleaner sound. And unlike the other sets I purchased, these have great volume! Perfect for the gym, or practicing my drums. BlueTooth connects instantly. And I have accidentally left my phone on the treadmill or somewhere else in the gym and walked at least 150" before the signal starts crackling. These headphones are great! I returned 3 bluetooth sets in 24 hours before stumbling across these. Buy these now!

Q: QuestionGot this as a gift to replace a lost headset. This says that you have to use a computer to charge it. I travel with a tablet with no USB port. Can you plug the USB into an adapter plug and must you use the supplied micro USB cable only?
Asked by Revtj.
- A:Answer You can use any Micro USB charger even the one you use for your Android phone. and if you have a Wall charger you can use that and it chargers a lot faster then the computer.

Q: QuestionI was given this headphone as a gift. In box it was only the headphones, where and what exactly do I need to recharge my headphones? Is it like most where it is red and turns green when fully charged. Any help is appreciated
Asked by Salltte2.
- A:Answer I just opened the box containing my new headset. A cable to connect the headset to a USB port on a computer was included. If you did not get a cable with your headset, you can purchase one. They are quite inexpensive. You need a cable with a regular USB connector on one end and a microUSB connector on the other end.
