Can the bass be turned down on the headset? null

No, the bass cannot be adjusted on the headphones.

Not on this model, but if you get one model up, i believe its the MDX950, that one you can switch off/on the bass.

No, the headphones have volume control, you will have to adjust bass through whatever app you are using. For example, Spotify has an EQ you can adjust.
