“when you stop to get gas/eat, do you have to restart the TomTom, or does it automatically come back on”

• Depending on settings that you can edit, the Tom Tom can come back on when it is plugged into the lighter. It will also pickup where it left off if it was in the middle of a route that was entered.

• Hey there, Just a quick press on the power button will put the device into standby mode, so when you come back just tap the button again and it will come back on allowing you to start from where you left off. I hope this helps, Reiss @ TomTom
