QuestionDoes this model have traffic updates?The Overview says it has traffic updates but from what I know only the "T" models have traffic info. Could someone please confirm

QuestionDoes this model re-route when needed?Normally cell phone maps app, re-route when there's a faster route available. Does this model do it as well? or you have to stick with the original route given at the begging of the trip?

The VIA 1515 doesn’t have Live Traffic and delay information so will not re-route you if a faster route becomes available, a number of TomTom devices do have this feature but unfortunately the VIA 1515 does not. - Answer To answer your question – the TomTom Via 1515 comes with pre-loaded maps of Canada, Mexico and the US. For the life of your product you can download updates for these maps thus Canada, Mexico and US. You can find more information about lifetime maps here http://bit.ly/1CsqT0s. - Answer Hi Edsanchez1, To answer your question - The Via 1515 comes with lifetime maps for Canada, Mexico and U.S. Europe maps can be uploaded however please be aware that they are not included as part of the lifetime map for the device hence if you would like to to have the map of Europe on the device you will need to purchase them. I cant see on the product page where is says it is for trucks but i can tell you that this device does not have a function to input dimensions of the vehicle unless you purchase a separate trucker map. You may want to go for a different device like the Trucker 600 which is specifically designed for trucks. - I hope this helps! - Reiss @ TomTom

- Answer It’s under the settings has a setting for day and night driving. Gave it to my daughter for early Christmas present and she drove to Boston with it and absolutely loved it day and night driving.

- Answer Hello, Neither model has a direction pointer. You can purchase safety cams for both models. The 1515TM comes with an RDS-TMC integrated power cable for lifetime traffic updates. Both devices will re-route you automatically. Thanks
