- Answer We bought it because it says the maps of Canada are included. We had to postpone our trip so I haven't verified it yet but it does say lifetime maps of US ,Canada and Mexico on the box.

Questioncan you turn off " Advance Lane Guidance " in their settings? It's where the screen splits in 2 ( there would be 2 different views on the screen). Advance Lane Guidance supposedly shows upcoming major lanes or intersections. Thanks

- Answer I am not positive that you can turn off the split screen option. This is an upgrade according the the manufacturer. The split screen actually shows your car's path from a major roadway onto a ramp or exit. The split screen disappears from view once you have properly exited a major highway.

- Answer Hey there, Thanks for your question. The VIA 1515M will show your current coordinates, as well as being able to navigate to a set of coordinates. This is as accurate as you need it to be. To find your current coordinates, simply enter 'View Map' form the main menu, then select 'Options' in the bottom left corner. Finally, select 'Advanced' and tick 'Coordinates'. QuestionAre you able to put in coordinates rather than a physical address? And does it run off of cellular data or wifi? the location I am trying to find does not have any type of cell or internet service.

- Answer only an address. It doesn't run off the internet. To my knowledge it accesses satellites.

- Answer Hey Ron, Yes - to change the type of route on the device, simply enter the Main Menu, Settings then Route Planning. Here you can choose 'Walking route' as an option. I hope that helps! - Cameron at TomTom

QuestionI have a problem with my Garmin 5 GPS overheating, even on a mild heat and it wont turn back on until late at night when i'm off work and driving home. Does this unit have issues overheating?
