It’s under the settings has a setting for day and night driving. Gave it to my daughter for early Christmas present and she drove to Boston with it and absolutely loved it day and night driving.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hey there Jimbo, It sounds like 'Night Mode' / 'Night Colors' may have been activated on your previous device, meaning that the screen is darker. These are found in the Settings menu. Our devices are designed to be used in all lighting conditions - in sunlight or at night. Please note that if you are not using all accessories provided - for example connecting directly to a car's USB port rather than using the TomTom Cigarette Lighter Adapter - then you may experience some dimming of the screen.
