A:AnswerYou may be pressing the timer when setting it to record? When you press the RECORD button more than one time, it sets a timer for recording. Hope this helps?
A:AnswerThis unit does have OSD. Not found how to disable the feature. I use it to convert my home videos to digital format and works fine with external converter box connected to PC. Since OSD displayed only for few seconds you could cut that section at beginning of tape and dontstop until whole tape played out.
