Questioni just bought this controller. ever since i got it, it has been giving me the same issue. even though it is FULLY CHARGED, it will NOT turn on for me. if it does, it will be on for a few minutes and shut back off. HELP. (Nintendo Switch)

QuestionWhy does it have a wire but still need to be charged? It makes absolutely no sense. If it gets plugged into the controller it shouldn’t need to be charged. That’s how most headsets work. Why make this extra work?

- Answer The Recon 200 headsets require charging due to the fact that they are amplified headsets. In order for the amplification to work, the headset would need to be powered by a power source of some sort. The controller itself would not be able to provide enough power to the headset. Rather than tethering you to the console or another power source via a USB cable, we placed a rechargeable battery in the headset. This allows you to only have one connection to the console's controller, rather than two (one to the console, one to the controller).

- Answer Short answer more power output, I guess. This is asked a lot around my friends. I can't attest to why it was designed that why, but what I can say is that the quality of the headphones are amazing. The charging time is nothing compared to how long it will last you and if push comes to shove, you can charge it while using it. There are two volume dials on the side of the headphones one for game volume and the other for mic monitoring. The mic monitoring will allow you to have conversations with people in the room or here your door open even with the headphones on. The game volume is such good quality you'll here things in the party chat that others can't.

- Answer Yes u have to go to setting and literally update the controller.. go to setting on the Xbox menu ( have the head set plugged in the controller and the controller charger to the Xbox also) then go to system and then update controller and It will ask to update and 1 or min later Boom they work.. I know it sucks but that’s because they are not Xbox brand these are easier to connect to play station but work the same great head phones..(if u don’t have the controller charger wire u can use the charger for the headset)

- Answer Try going into your console for audio settings. We had the same issue and we fixed it by resetting the audio through console settings.

- Answer On some cyber power desktops, you need a Y splitter. You plug in the headset into the Y splitter and then plug these 2 ends into the Mic and Headphone jacks
