“Why does it have a wire but still need to be charged? It makes absolutely no sense. If it gets plugged into the controller it shouldn’t need to be charged. That’s how most headsets work. Why make this extra work?”

• The Recon 200 headsets require charging due to the fact that they are amplified headsets. In order for the amplification to work, the headset would need to be powered by a power source of some sort. The controller itself would not be able to provide enough power to the headset. Rather than tethering you to the console or another power source via a USB cable, we placed a rechargeable battery in the headset. This allows you to only have one connection to the console's controller, rather than two (one to the console, one to the controller).

• You have to charge it so the headset can have more base. It’s not a Bluetooth controller at all. It just needs more power so it can boost the base.
