What is the difference between these new Easystore models and the My Book/Passport models. The regular price for these is more than the MB/PP yet these look like the previous generation of the MB/PP. What is the difference and which would be better? null

I asked the manufacturer the same question with regards to the portable models. Their answer was that the Easystore does not have encryption and password protections, whereas the My Passports do; and has a 2 year warranty.

EasyShare doesn't provide encryption unlike passport but gud enough for a normal user's for a backup.

its all about marketing and sales playing with names :) but so far passport goes to small models as size of the small book or passport. cloud is the ones with nas connector and easystore just big plug and play
