The protection plan for the tv is good and it wasn't expensive.

Didnt use geek squad for installation. Or anything as a matter of fact. Purchased 2 year protection plan and when my tv got broken i called them and they said they couldnt do anything about it. Basically said i was out of luck.

Must be a good thing since i haven't had to file any claims.

seems luke a waste of money byt id rather be safe than sorry.

I have called multiple times but have never been able to reach a human. My new TV is fine, but the remote doesn't work. I just wanted to talk to someone about replacing it. I do not want to make an appointment for TV repair. I just wanted to tell someone that out of the box, the remote didn't work. I tried chat and was told I had to make an appointment. Ridiculous. I use my iPhone as a remote so it isn't an urgent issue, but a brand new TV shouldn't have a non functioning remote control.

Geek Squad protection is the best choice of action.

The first time I tried to use the service, I get a lot of questions. no answers. adv to call the hotline. so much for 24hr web service
