Excellent product. Phone app isn’t very helpful and I resorted to manual setup. Remember to change the security encryption settings on the router to match your various devices or they won’t connect. That stumped me for a bit. Again it’s the setup not the product that can be awkward.

Comcast said my old one needed to be replaced. I was excited for this one. Once I installed it, it was just ok. It drops wifi more often then I expected. I wish the app had a few more features like being able to open up ports easily.

I upgraded from an Xfinity Gateway and I am extremely pleased so far. Speeds are as they should be. I am no longer limited in my options. I was able to fix a crashing issue with multiplayer games, due to Xfinity not allowing me to change my DNS server.

Easy set up way better connection then the service providers modem

This was very easy to install and it's working very well much better than the unit from my prior cable company we always had problems with. I've read a lot of these reviews and some of the negative ones for me the unit's been fine we've been running it now for a couple months and couldn't be better

Very easy set-up. Connected right away. Didn’t have any issues. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because it doesn’t have a manual wsp button. You have to download the app and go a few different places to seek virtual access. Kind of a pain to do. Other that it’s a really good router.

Such a horrible wifi router. The modem itself works fine, I have no issue with my hard wire connections. The built in wifi on the other hand is so bad. At one point, my wifi connection was cutting in and out. This was persistent for a couple of months and stopped randomly. Regardless, the coverage still does not go far. I live in a 1000 square foot house and it cannot reach many areas. I only went with this router because a really good Netgear one I was using prior failed randomly. I decided to switch brands because I thought purchasing another Netgear router/modem I would run into the same issues. Instead I lost a ton of performance. SInce I no longer can return this router, I've opted to turn off the wifi and purchase a mesh network to use as a wifi alternative. I hate this modem/router so much I am still looking to sell it and replace it with a modem only option to run my new mesh wifi network that works so much better than this.

This modem took our wifi speed from 400 mbps to over 900. Even though our other modem was equipped to handle up to 6 to 700 mbps it came nowhere near that. I am extremely happy with this modem.

Our router seemed to be dying, so we decided to get a new modem/router combo. This one seemed like a good deal. It's been working well. It doesn't have a quick-connect (WPS) button that we can find, but that's not a big deal for us.

Upgraded to this modem and router several months back when having issues with the speed in our home with the provider we use. This model works great. We've had no issues.

Out of nowhere internet was not working at home, turns out provider stopped working with old modem and router. We decided to spend the extra money and get both in one and no regrets. My speed is even better now.

This ARRIS Surfboard was recommended by my provider, and it is working really well, my internet speed is constantly close to 400 MBPS and respond is much faster, and the bandwidth covers all of my devices with ease.

Upgraded to 3.1 docsis with this unit. Had motorola router that outlived its usefulness. This router has greater capabilities with updated current industry standards.

My wireless router Modem is great. It covers the entire house and I didn’t have to buy an extender as I did with my previous one. I like the fact that is also cover over 50 devices.

This is an excellent cable modem. Easy to connect and works well.

This was super easy to setup and the speed is amazing. I use this with Xfinity and love the wifi. You won't regret getting this as I am now free of the rental from Xfinity.

Very fast, but I have to reboot every other day or the speed start dropping and the surfboard app I could not make it work on my iPhone

Best gateway ive bought. The Ipv6 runs great, and all my electronics on it are way faster. Did take a little to set it up.

When we increased our internet speed at Xfinity, I chose to buy my own modem/wifi and this Arris G36 is working very well. Easy to install and instructions easy to follow.

Complete scam. It is in fact not compatible with Xfinity. Was told by the line tech that they will be rolling out a filter to block this router since it sends feedback into Xfinity’s lines and disrupts local WiFi.
