Great Buy at Best Buy
This gateway performs its job very well. I only bought this advanced gateway because I plan to upgrade my internet speed above its current 300mbs - if I were not upgrading it I would get something cheaper/less advanced. Any other issues are the fault of Comcast which forced me to upgrade my equipment for some unknown reason, then wasn't ready to provision the modem for IP6 for over a week. This gateway is new/advanced, so some of my older devices would not connect via 5G, including a smart TV and Kindle that are probably 8-10 years old. Both connected to 5G on my old gateway, but this is pretty normal when upgrading electronics - older devices become incompatible.

Great Gateway
Works great. I bought this to replace my Arris SBG7600AC2 (which I also love) for 1Gpbs internet and I've heard so many good things about the WiFi6 being so much better. I almost didn't buy this because I've seen so many reviews about the connection drops many times during the day. As soon as I logged into the Admin webpage (http://192.168.0.1) I could immediately see why people would misinterpret this (sort of). Under Connection -> Local IP Network ->IPv4 (and/or IPv6) you'll want to change the DHCP Lease Time. By default it is set to every one (1) hour. When the modem release and renews connected deviced you might notice a momentary hiccup in the connection. Change this to about every 7 days. There is even a "Forever" option you can choose that will never renew. Attached is image of what I recommend that you change. Again by default this was set to every 1 hour.

Does what its supposed to
Had to replace my previous lower model Arris due to it not sending out wifi anymore, so I bought this one. Ive had it for a few months and I've had no issues. It handles my 800 MBPS Wifi from xfinity with ease. Also works with Xfinity btw so no need to lease their equipment. After an outage it boots up quickly and reconnects everything. So far So good.
