So far I am loving this laptop. It has performed as advertised and expect it to continue to do so. The only con so far is the battery life could be longer.

I purchased this laptop on sale for $~1300 during a federal holiday sale. At that price it is worth the money, but this is not a perfect machine. Here are some of the drawbacks: The system will not boot with external I/O plugged in. HDMI & USB devices prevent even a boot to BIOS - the system only power cycles. HP Support was unable to provide a solution. The trackpad is one of the worst I've ever used. Unless the system is placed perfectly on a flat service, behavior will be eradict. The system cannot be reverted back until Windows 10 - HP has restricted the essential device drivers to Windows 11. Those three significant drawbacks being considered, this machine is still great. It has a well-designed chassis that cools efficiently and presents in a professional way instead of the gamer-aesthetic. The screen is fantastic - easily the best I've seen on a mobile Windows machine. 12th gen Intel is fantastic. I don't regret not purchasing the i9 spec. The system is also easily modified. The base enclosure has a few simple screws that are not obscured by a rubber pad and the relevant components are easy to access. It took me less than 30 minutes to install new storage and memory. I should note: I am not using this machine as a gaming laptop, but rather a production laptop. The 3060 may be limiting for some trying to play the latest titles.

First gaming laptop purchase, got it on a deal. More than enough processing power to play most of the games I want to at max/high graphics. The display is high quality at the price point. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a quality gaming laptop that doesn’t come with a high-end gaming laptop price tag.

A great gaming and all purpose laptop with superb speed and high graphics. Bought it for my nephew who is into computer gaming and is also a graphic designer, this laptop satisfies both needs easily and without hiccups.

Overall a good gaming laptop. Graphics are good and no lagging. Not a bad investment for your money. The fan noise is my only concern. Even with a raised platform and cooling pad, it runs really hot.

I love this laptop. I have been buying HP PCs/Laptops for over 20 years, and there is a reason why. The styling, ergonomics, quality and performance to price ratio. This thing crushed Apex Legends very similar performance to my HP Omen 30L with a 3070 in it. I actually questioned needing a PC while I was using this. My ONLY complaint is I use this for work also, and the fans can get pretty loud even if I have the fan curve tuned to be as quiet as possible they still kick on every once in awhile and it is pretty loud. Hopefully I can deal with it but it is the only issue I have with this as I work in an industry that we cant have background noises like this because we are recording audio constantly.

The speed and ability of this computer are amazing. I am able to use this computer not only for gaming but personal use as well. I have no lag during my games with fast download times. The capability of the computer far exceeds the price.

Good screen, build quality is good. Fans way too loud. For some this may be ok but for me, with others in the room while using it can get obnoxious. If noise is not an issue, everything else is great.

If you need a gaming laptop, this is one of the best out there for the price. The onboard graphics card really shines on multiple games and this system is very fast!

It performs very well. Cpu temps run high but its to be expected. 140 watt gpu makes this thing punch hard for its weight class.
