The only reason I got this one is the wireless card on my pro 3 gave up the ghost. Fixed that with a third party usb WiFi adapter, and now the kids are using it. I use the docking station with two monitors at work and at home. I transport this daily and it has been holding up for over a year. Had the pro 3 for 3 years before the upgrade. Very happy.

Wish the tablet itself were a bit lighter in weight. Camera works well. Touch screen looses sensitivity near the edges of the screen. Shop around when purchasing I got mine price matched for a better deal.

This got me looking at the Surface. I have to say after having it for a couple of weeks if you want a tablet but the capabilities of laptop then I would definitely get the Surface. I have not missed my iPad Pro at all.

The idea is nice but what's with all the BSODs?

It runs standard windows programs and a decent amount of them that I would have thought would have been impossible to run or would run very slowly. I was pleasantly surprised. HOWEVER, I was unpleasantly surprised the first time I encountered the Surface's equivalent to a blue screen of death (BSOD) and have since encountered this at least 10 times in the month I've owned it. I fear it's going to continue and there is no good information as to the root cause.

Great to hear you are enjoying Surface Pro. Windows Hello might have a problem recognizing you if you wear glasses, did not set up facial recognition properly, or are in dramatically different lighting conditions.
To improve recognition, select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options, and then select Improve recognition.
