Looks beautiful, but I received 2 defective units

I wanted to love this one! I bought an entire black stainless set. I was very happy once it arrived and was installed - I’d actually had a large Kenmore microwave from 1982, so this was obviously a step up cosmetically as well as functionality. Unfortunately, I did not noticed until after the installers left that the logo was slanted off to the right. It was super noticeable and I couldn’t not see it. I definitely would not be able to be irked by it for the next decade or so, so I initiated a return/exchange. Side note, I saw others in the reviews had the same issue with the logo, so it wasn’t just me. I also didn’t like that the buttons seemed to be really stuff - I had to press really hard and do double takes with it often. Well, the new one arrived and hurray! The logo was straight. Ugh, yet again.. after the installers left and I went to heat something the next day, there is a super loud and deep mechanical/grinding/rattling sound coming from it. I tried to push on the door, push up on the unit… thinking maybe something was loose, but to no avail. Thus, I hate it, but I had to initiate another return. This time though, I went ahead and purchased the 1.1 cu ft stainless. I have high hopes that this will will do the trick. If not, I’m tempted to return everything and go with another brand. Oh and one other thing that bugs me is that the light, even on the higher setting, it’s very dull - it provides an exceptionally meager amount of light.
I’m attaching two photos that show the slanted logo. My camera isn’t the best and also it was far more noticeable in person. I should add too that Best Buy has been very accommodating with my return requests. I’ve had some major issues with the range and dishwasher instal/lack there of and they’ve been helpful over the phone and kind… though the issues are still unresolved.

Review of microwave oven

The microwave is performing very well. My husband installed easy! Matches other kitchen appliances. We love it . We have had no problems with it, performs very well. We will recommend to others. The price was reasonable especially no interest for 6 months-24 months.Also we liked how the salesperson walked us through each part of the process. It was all done very quickly
A:AnswerThis is just my "opinion". If you are going to mount over your range and you want to use the exhaust fan function , then yes it must be vented. If you are not going to use the exhaust fan function, then you would not need to vent the microwave. We use the exhaust fan and it works great. Wish I had done some more research on lighting feature. They do not light up the top of my range as bright as I expected. I am researching different or brighter lighting options. Hope this helps!
