Customers are delighted by the picture quality, price, color, and easy setup of the 75” Class 6-Series 4K UHD Mini-LED QLED Dolby Vision HDR Roku Smart TV. They appreciate the vibrant colors, user-friendly interface, and its suitability for gaming and sports. While some users have experienced issues with the remote control, screen, weight, and short lifespan, the overall positive feedback suggests that this TV offers great value for its price range.
The TV is as advertised and has good blacks. My problem so far, is both the remote that comes with the TV(no ir control) and even a separate Enhanced Voice Remote, are both completely locked out for "controlling IR on audio device", such as a sound bar or some other IR device right when you pair it to the Roku TV. There is literally no option to control IR or setup IR on a different Enhanced Voice Remote purchased separately which of course online is the recommended way, but something is wrong with the Roku TV OS in the remote menu blocking the enhanced voice remote from setting up IR Control. When I use said above remote with a different Roku device in the house, it offers the expected pair with TV/IR Sound device options under the remote options just fine. I think this is a huge oversight and possibly just a bug with the embedded Roku TV OS vs. a normal Roku streaming stick or ultra. It was heavy of course and pretty difficult to handle up high on wall to mount so don't get a cheap mount or you will have a hard time. I will say in regard to blacks, that there is still a slight halo around dark background with white text. This has never bothered me on ANY tv, but I figured since people obsess over this, I should mention this. I notice it on the Dolby Vision Roku channel, with the Dolby Vision logo itself in top right, which also occurs on Netflix Dolby Vision titles at the start in top right of picture. However in real content, I never notice any white halo around black background with light objects.

I cannot boast enough about the picture this TV delivers, plus the built-in sound is quite ammazing! you MUST get a very good quality HDMI cable though and make sure you use the arc HDMI input. Otherwise, the display is only going to be as good as the device you connect to it. We mounted this tv high up above our mantle, angled it down in a bright room and it STILL looks great. It does seem a bit heavier though than what's listed in the specifications, so make sure you have a good mount. The value and what you get with this TV seriously cannot be beat. To have the same with Samsung or Sony, I imagine you'd have to pay triple what you pay for this.

I have had this TCL Roku TV for over a week now and so far, so good. After narrowing down my choices to three TVs (Vizio P-Series X 2020 model, Sony X900H 2020 model, and TCL R635 2020 model) I decided to pull the plug on the TCL Roku TV. This 75R35 replaced a Samsung 65” KS8000 tv in our family room. First things first. This in not a high-end tv and you do not pay for high-end (Name Brand) pricing either. However, for a budget 4K UHD Smart tv, you are getting a whole lot of value for your money. The picture quality of the TCL Roku TV is as good or even better than the Samsun KS8000 in some aspects. The reason I got this TCL Roku is because I wanted a 75-inch screen TV with eARC capability, and the fact it has Roku built in and since I am a big Roku fan this wa the right TV for me. I do not care for HDMI 2.1 at this moment because it will be at least 5 more years for new technology to take advantage of HDMI 2.1 connectivity. I am mainly using this tv for watching movies and sports, and occasional video gaming. The picture quality out of the box is impressive in my opinion and it gets even better after fine tuning the picture settings to room characteristics and personal viewing preference. My family room is bright with white color walls and ceiling and the TCL 75R35 tv gets bright enough to display a beautiful, clear picture. The TCL tv has excellent contrast and quick response time. This tv, does not have blooming, light bleed, or dirty screen issues as others have mentioned. This tv produces deep blacks as advertise. Local dimming works great on this TV. Content in HDR10 and Dolby Vision look amazing using default picture settings and you can always fine tune the default settings to your personal preference. Keep in mind you can improve the picture quality by doing a little fine tuning yourself or professionally calibrate the tv if you want to spend $250-$300 extra. The TCL 75R635 is an excellent 4K UHD Smart TV at this price range.
