Works great!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing works, let me tell you, just bought my new home and love it, but only one thing bothered me, and it was this odor, tried multiple things and nothing worked, soo I ran into this sweet deal with this machine and im glad I did, not only it removed that pesky odor, but I feel the air is much cleaner and fresher to breathe in, and thats appreciated because I have 3 little ones lol, but yes this thing is awesome and a must have!

Work great and included filters last a long time
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought two of these, one for a child's bedroom and one for our master bedroom. I find that keeping them on 24/7 on fan setting 2 is a good mix of a enjoyable noise for sleeping, and having clean air. Also that setting is about the same amount of electricity that my noise maker was using that I no longer need.

Great units. Easy to set up and clean.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've own a couple of these for ~6 years and just purchased a couple more for my new house. Old ones still work well but seems like the newer ones are a bit better. They make the air noticeably fresher and filter out any smells, dust, animal dander that accumulates. Ofc nothing replaces cleaning. If your space is particularly dusty or Smokey or something like that you probably have to change the filter more often.

Solid air purifier
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definitely one of the better air purifiers I've tried. I brought 2 about 3 weeks ago and it has done a great job at keeping my room and kitchen dust/odor free. Also it comes with everything you need for it to last a whole year.

Great
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this it works great only concern is it is a little loud on the highest fan cycle, in a smaller room. Cleaning pre filters seems to be easy and replacing filter can be washed. New filter replacement is a little pricey. I went there ebay. Got a better deal.

Q: QuestionWe randomly experience the red warning light for air quality. The unit is newer and the filters look clean. What specifically is this detecting? Could you provide me with as much technical data as possible?
Asked by DocLouis.
- A:Answer Hello, the unit is sensing particles or odors (vocs) and changing the air quality indicator to red. If the unit is being used in the auto mode, the fan speeds will automatically adjust to clean the air at the best rate.

Q: QuestionI just got my Winix Air Filter. It's been on in my office only 3 hours. The Plasmawave light has been blue, but recently turned red. What does this mean? I did open a window for about 20 minutes, could that have affected it?
Asked by Pat.
- A:Answer Hello Pat, that means that the air quality in the room has changed. The product is equipped with air quality sensors and indicators. Blue means good air quality, amber mean average air quality and red means poor air quality. Opening windows may bring in impurities and dust and cause the sensors to pick them up!

Q: QuestionHow does this filter system work with cigarette smoke ?
Asked by StubbornBill.
- A:Answer I'm a smoker. Now working from home I've set up an office in the basement. 1700 square feet. I bought this unit and placed it in the basement and can honestly tell you that it clears the air quickly. I have a cigarette about once an hour and coming in and out of the basement throughout the day I can tell that it smells fine. I'm very impressed.
